Frequently asked questions

Converting

How do I convert GetGood Drums MIDI to EZdrummer?

Add the .mid, set the source to GetGood Drums and the target to EZdrummer, then download the remapped file. See where each GetGood Drums Invasion note lands in EZdrummer 3.

Can I convert multiple files at once?

Yes. Queue several .mid files and download them all as a single .zip.

What if a drum has no equivalent in the target engine?

Drumverter uses per-slot fallback chains to pick the closest available voice, and reports anything it couldn't map. The note maps show where each drum lands before you convert.

Which DAWs and octave conventions are supported?

Both common note-octave conventions are covered — toggle between C-1 (Reaper) and C-2 (Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One) so note names match your DAW. Reaper, Cubase and Studio One can also load a drum map that names every note.

Privacy and cost

Is Drumverter free?

Yes. It runs entirely in your browser, with no account and no cost.

Do my MIDI files get uploaded?

No. Conversion happens locally in your browser; files never leave your device.

Where are my presets saved?

Only in this browser on this device — they’re never uploaded, and clearing site data removes them. To move one, choose Export in its menu, then drop the .json file on the page in the other browser.
